Loss
prevention is an important part of any business plan. For some companies,
it starts with extensive interviewing, testing and background investigations.
Other organizations are just happy to hire someone that will show
up for work. Many rely on "temp agencies" to do the necessary
screening to fill their needs.
Each company has their own way of doing things. However, no matter
how your company screens your personnel, even the most trusted employees
may have been involved with unauthorized profit sharing (theft) from
their employer.
You may be able to reluctantly accept the intruder that breaks into
your facility or a robber that holds you up. However, when your own
personnel steal from you, as a business owner/manager you have to
deal both with the loss and the betrayal of trust.
INTERNAL THEFT CAN BE A POTENTIAL PROBLEM IN ANY BUSINESS.
Even the most trusted business owner/management organization shouldn't
ignore the potential of employee theft.
Staff, often steal, not only because they can get away with it, but
because they have a financial need or think they're taking what's
owed them or sometimes it's so easy they just can't resist. Aggressive
loss prevention practices can help ensure that your profits are not
going out the back door, before you get a chance to enjoy the benefits
of your hard work and investments.
U-TIP is not a unique idea, it has been used by corporations
and government agencies to help prevent losses and/or shrinkage. However,
some corporations, through all their precautions, have often inadvertently
revealed the source f the information. This could lead to another
problem, resulting in potential workplace violence. Where U-TIP
differs, is that you the Subscriber, will never know the source of
the information. The information is reported to our Security Specialist
and then passed on the next business day, to a specific individual
designated by the client to receive the information.
It is possible, for as little as pennies per day, for you to enroll
in the U-TIP program and help insure that you will be the
one that controls your profit sharing.
Please call 262-740-1511 for further details regarding this
program.
