an individual to anonymously report information that may impact the
safety or well being of students, staff, property or any other concerns
that an individual may have relating to the safety and operation of
the school. For pennies a day, U-TIP will help detour school violence by using your most valuable resource: your own staff, your students and other members of the community. Here's how U-TIP works:  U-TIP

or anyone else use to anonymously report information
impacting the safety of the schools.Our Security Specialists
then pass on the information to your designated person within the
school district on thenext business day sooner depending on the information. It is then incumbent upon the school officials to decide what to do with the information. They can either handle the problem internally, report the information to the appropriate authorities, or do nothing. Please don't wait until violence hits your school and then ask "What could we have done to prevent this?" It is not a matter of "if" it is going to happen at your school, it's "when" such an event will occur. There are no excuses for failing to take reasonable steps to prevent or prepare for such incidences. While proactive security and crisis preparedness measures offer no guarantees that violence or crisis incidences will not occurs, they do represent basic areas where steps can be taken to reasonably reduce the risks of such occurrences and, if necessary, to better prepare school staff for managing those which do occur. U-TIP is not the answer to all the school safety/violence issues. However, it is a step that your school may take to demonstrate to your students, staff, parents and community that your school administration is making a visible effort to help reduce school violence. |
